It's 5:09 AM as I'm typing this, and some people are out shopping right now. Nothing like a little consumerism to motivate people after a day of lullfully feasting on turkey.

I'm up at 5am for another reason, being one of the unlucky few that actually have to drag themselves to work today hoping nobody notices we're five pounds fatter. Then again, my mom's been at work at Kohl's for over an hour in a sort of twilight retail hell so I shouldn't complain too much.

I don't have anything spectacular to report on from our Turkey day festivities. Watched Joey Harrington toss a couple touchdowns before giving up the television in favor of The Last Unicorn...Felicia's pick, not mine. Regardless, it was interesting to see that America did the entire soundtrack for The Last Unicorn, something I probably never would have known. After that we went bowling and I managed to throw two games at 130 and almost lose to my sister. Not the proudest holiday moment I've ever had.

Having been subjected to the America-heavy soundtrack of The Last Unicorn yesterday, I decided to kick it old school today on Black Friday and bring you a couple of my favorites from the yesteryears mixed in with some great tracks from today.

The Tryptophan Mixtape

America - "Horse With No Name"
Cake - "I Will Survive"

Pearl Jam - "Alive (acoustic)"
Wilco - "Cars Can't Escape"
