Los Campesinos! Set To Return To North America
Based out of Cardiff, Wales, the youthful septet known as Los Campesinos! announce their return to the U.S. this fall. They made their triumphant U.S. stage debut at the Lollapalooza Festival and continued a small tour in support of their EP Sticking Fingers Into Sockets which was released on Arts&Crafts in July. Response to the band has been nothing short of ecstatic on both sides of the Atlantic and the upcoming run of dates will be a treat for those who missed the opportunity this summer. Los Campesinos! christened the studio of producer Dave Newfeld (Broken Social Scene) when they stepped into his Stars & Sons recording space in September to lay the tracks for their upcoming full-length, expected out in early 2008. They also recently shot the video for their next UK single “The International Tweexcore Underground” which will be released October 22nd on Wichita Recordings.
Los Campesinos has quickly found their way into the rotation here at Veritas Lux Mea, so if you have a chance to catch them on tour, we highly suggest you do so...and bring your dancing shoes.
