Tony Romo, Guitar Hero?

One of the first things I did when we moved to our new place was to put two TVs in the living room. Not that I'm a huge fan of television; in fact, I pretty much only watch it for sports or NBC comedies. But having the versatility to watch two games at the same time on Sunday is pretty top notch in my book. I'm currently watching both the Packers-Chiefs and Vikings-Chargers games. Favre has looked pretty terrible against the Chiefs so far throwing two picks, and Brooks Bollinger has come into the game against the Chargers for the Vikings in place of just-injured Tavaris Jackson. Neither game really warrants watching right now, which is why I'm blogging for a couple minutes during the half. Thank God we've got a Super Bowl quality matchup coming later in the afternoon between Indy and New England.

Received an email from Spitzer. They are two brothers from France who play electronic music to make people dance. You can check out their Myspace page here and download an mp3 for Kaspersky here.

Another band I wanted to pass along this weekend is Milwaukee's own Fever Marlene.

Fever Marlene has just completed and independently released their debut album "Civil War." In addition to local Milwaukee and Madison retail outlets, the album is available on iTunes. According to some of the unsolicited reviews on iTunes, the album is an "iconic record," "a piece of American pop art," "one of the best albums I've heard in about five years," and "a rock n roll masterpiece."

Fever Marlene is the first unsigned local band in 10 years to receive major rotation on Milwaukee radio. FM 102.1 has been heavily playing the song "Red Fire" for the past month and in the station's opinion the album contains five (5) singles which they will work.

You can visit Fever Marlene at their website, where you can stream all of the tracks off their record Civil War.

Halftime's over. Back to the game. Enjoy your Sunday.
