sh.st/tVdGD sh.st/tCXMj The Last Post of 2007 - cakar macan blog

Sitting here this frosty Sunday evening enjoying the Packers game and spending time with my little family up here in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The holiday season is fast upon us and we're in full-Christmas shopping mode. Small fowls have been purchased for cookie, stockings have been hung, and our miniature Christmas tree is glowing brightly near the decorative brick fireplace. The only thing we're missing is some holiday tunes.

Luckily, our inbox has been filled with lots of treats from musical Santas all over the world. Over the next couple of weeks leading up to Christmas we'll continue to update this post with all the holiday songs, covers, and Christmas tunes we come across - and we'll be sure to point you towards our friends who surely will have their musical stockings full as well. This will be our last post of the year for 2007 as we're going to sit back, relax, and take in the tunes...call it a Holiday Creative Sabbatical if you wish.

Often lost in the endless time spent posting is a compass to what you're actually interested in hearing...which is why I think it pays to step back once in a while and just listen to what's out there. We hope to return in 2008 with a clearer sense of what we want to pass along to our readers, all the while filling up our music library with new additions to start the year that will be 2008 off on the right foot.

We invite you to stop by throughout the next couple of weeks and check out this latest post to see what we've come across in terms of Christmas tunes for your holiday playlist. We also encourage you to visit all our wonderful friends in the blogroll to check out their holiday offerings as well. Got one we missed? Leave a comment in the comments section to help us find our way.

Thanks for all the great music recommendations you've sent us this year, and all the times you've stopped by to visit as well to this humble little blog of music, sports, and news. We thank you for making Veritas Lux Mea a part of your day, your blogroll, and your year.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.
See you in 2008,

Goose, Veritas Lux Mea
